Specific services or programs may be subject to additional conditions communicated before participation or purchase.

3. Applications & Participation

Submission of an application does not create an automatic right to admission to a BeFounder program, initiative or event.

BeFounder may review applications based on program criteria, relevance, capacity and other legitimate operational considerations.

4. Introductions & Matchmaking

BeFounder may introduce founders, startups, companies, investors, mentors, service providers, institutions or other professional parties.

After an introduction, the respective parties are responsible for conducting their own due diligence, assessing opportunities, obtaining professional advice where required and deciding whether to enter into any relationship or transaction.

5. Investments & Funding

Information regarding investors, fundraising, grants, financing opportunities or other funding-related topics is provided for informational and ecosystem purposes only.

BeFounder does not recommend specific investments or financial instruments and does not make investment decisions on behalf of any party.

Any investment or financing arrangement is negotiated and concluded directly between the relevant parties.

6. No Guarantee of Outcomes

Participation in BeFounder or receipt of an introduction does not guarantee:

• investment or fundraising;
• grant approval;
• customers or revenue;
• partnerships;
• market entry;
• company formation;
• business growth or commercial success.

7. Mentors, Partners & Third Parties

Mentors, investors, experts, institutions, companies and service providers participating in the BeFounder ecosystem may operate independently from BeFounder.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, their involvement does not create an employment, agency, joint venture or legal partnership with BeFounder.

8. Fees & Payment

Where a service or program is subject to a fee, the applicable price, scope and payment conditions will be communicated before the relevant agreement is concluded.

Unless otherwise stated, prices are shown in euros and include or exclude applicable taxes as indicated at the time of purchase.

9. Consumer Rights

Where a customer qualifies as a consumer under applicable law, mandatory Austrian and European consumer-protection rights remain unaffected by these Terms.

For distance contracts, statutory withdrawal rights apply where required by law.

10. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for providing accurate information and for ensuring that submitted content does not violate applicable law or third-party rights.

Users remain responsible for their own business, financial, commercial and investment decisions.

Unless otherwise stated, original BeFounder content, program materials, designs, resources, videos and other materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Such content may not be reproduced, distributed or commercially exploited without permission unless permitted by law.

12. Liability

Liability is governed by applicable Austrian law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by mandatory law.

14. Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by Austrian law, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules applicable to the respective customer.
